Changes to Skills Assessment for Nurses and Midwives

Update: Outcome Based Assessment (OBA) for Internationally qualified nurses and midwives (IQNM) and PR Pathway

Australian Nursing and Midwifery Accreditation Council ANMAC has made changes to their skills assessment process. As of 1 of February 2017, recent graduates from Australian universities will need to provide a certified copy of and academic transcripts of Australian Bachelor degree in addition to other documents.

On the other hand, Australian Nursing and Midwifery Accreditation Council ANMAC has advised us that a ‘Certificate of Registration Status‘ from AHPRA is no longer needed, as ANMAC will be able to double check this and verify online.
In addition to the above news, Australian Nursing and Midwifery Accreditation Council ANMAC advises applicants that turnaround time for skills assessment is currently 2 months.
